Italian Numbers 0-31 Challenge Cards | Ideal for Italian courses such as Primary Italian, KS2 Italian, KS3 Italian, Scotland P4 - P7 & S1 - S3 Italian and International beginner Italian programmes at A1 level. It’s a great addition to your Italian Numbers Unit of Work, and perfect for Italian cover lessons.

Students are able to practise and reinforce their knowledge of Italian numbers entirely independently of teacher input with this set of 48 differentiated challenge cards. The questions progress students from straightforward number vocabulary recognition and recall through to more practical application and analysis of language, with tasks such as number logic sequences and multiple-choice number puzzles. The activity is perfect for developing Italian reading, writing and spelling skills, and with 100% Italian content, contributes to a target language-rich Italian learning environment, whether as part of a whole lesson focusing on number vocabulary, or for quick but purposeful brain-break activities at any point during a lesson.

Teacher Note | The set is designed for Italian language learning classrooms, focusing on developing Italian skills rather than maths skills.

The set includes the following non-editable ready-to-print PDFs in a zipped format:

  • = 48 Differentiated Challenge Cards | Featuring a range of questions types.

  • = Answer Key | Gives students an additional opportunity to engage with language; ideal for self- or peer-correction; promotes student autonomy and a great teacher time-saver.

  • = Italian Numbers 0-31 Reference Chart | Particularly useful tricky spellings such as quinque, sedici and the ventuno | trentuno structure.

  • Teacher Tip | As an extension activity, our students use the questions as a reference framework to create their own questions for each other. They use them for student-led learning, either as an integral activity in whole lessons, or as mini-activities, such as entrance and exit tickets.
