New lesson focusing on the current conflict in Iran, with a Citizenship focus on Human Rights. This lesson was created as a 25 minute tutor-time session, but really with discussion and the clips included, there’s probably enough content for two 25 minute sessions.
Students will complete a short profile of the country of Iran, before exploring in depth the country’s history and its fractious relationship with Human Rights. Using research from Amnesty International and this weekend’s clips from Sky News, this lesson is up to date on the protests and conflict as of 13th Jan 2026.

Everything is editable and easy to just pick up and use. This is taken from the EC Publishing Ltd Complete Tutor Time Package which can be found on our website.
