This sequence of five lessons is designed to introduce logical thinking to students. The sequence of work was designed for a particularly gifted year 8 set however, would definitely be suitable for older age groups.

By the end of the sequence students should be able to create valid arguments, both in Modus Ponens and Modus Tollens forms, convert complext statements into modal and propositional logic, and recognise common logical fallacies.
