This lesson has been devised for the purpose of giving the new Y6's on transition week a taste of the model and structure of history lessons. There is plenty emphasis on engagement and routine.

AFL activities are incorporated into the lesson as are carousel activities, people bingo, sound clips and video links for engaging starters. Resources are included at the bottom of the powerpoint and a set of teacher instructions are also included at the top.

Also the instructions & resources for creating your witch tabards are included.

The lesson follows the 4 part lesson strategy and incorporates familiar icons used on all my lessons which I have embedded within all department lessons. Students engage in the lessons much more as they appear tidier, more fun and engaging.
