Children listen to a memoir of an elderly person's first car and then look at modern day car brochures looking for features which are new, and write a list of features they would like to see in future cars.

What a wonderful, fun, well-thought-out lesson! I teach in the U.S, so I would have to adapt this lesson for American students, but I am so impressed. This would truly encourage students to think, and they would have a great time engaging in all the activities. Thank you!

Excellent link between D.T and History. Great for children to reflect and research cars in the past and the future.

Most of the D&T activities are mentioned in the lesson plan as opposed to in the Activity. Good cross curricular lesson.
