The physical factor, start to finish — eight weeks of Higher PE, fully planned and fully resourced.

This bundle covers an entire Higher Physical Education block on the physical factor in badminton, taking pupils from their first gathering of data through a six-week Personal Development Plan to a written evaluation of its impact on performance.

It’s built and taught in a Scottish secondary PE department on a six-lesson week, splitting theory and practical so the classroom work and the court work stay locked together — pupils analyse, then apply, then evaluate.

What’s included

17 theory PowerPoints covering the full eight weeks, in a consistent slide format: learning journey, learning intentions and success criteria with the meta-skill named explicitly, colour-coded task zones, mid-lesson and end-of-lesson learning reviews, and a Teal Zone whiteboard challenge task in every single deck — no repeats.
48 lesson plans — a written plan for every theory and practical lesson across Weeks 1–8.
Term 1 pupil workbook — matched to the theory lessons so pupils leave the block with a complete written record, including model answers and blanked sections for them to complete.
6-week PDP booklet (physical factor, badminton) — a full development programme using fartlek training to develop cardio-respiratory endurance and repetition practice to develop accuracy of the overhead clear. Includes SMARTER goal setting, worked models before pupil sections, and exam-link boxes throughout.
Training diary — worked model entries, an RPE talk-test scale, a weekly PDP progression strip, a progress tracker and a full Week 8 evaluation task.

A bundle is a package of resources grouped together to teach a particular topic, or a series of lessons, in one place.

Higher PE — Complete Course Bundle | All Four Factors (Terms 1–4) + Revision Posters + Tracker

A full year of Higher PE — all four factors, every lesson planned, every pupil resource written. This bundle is an entire Higher Physical Education course: four teaching blocks covering the physical, social, mental and emotional factors, each set in a different activity, plus the revision posters and the tracking spreadsheet that run alongside them. It's built and taught in a Scottish secondary PE department on a six-lesson week, splitting theory and practical so the classroom work and the practical work stay locked together — pupils analyse, then apply, then evaluate, four times over, in four different contexts. The four blocks Term 1 — Physical factor in badminton (8 weeks). Fartlek for cardio-respiratory endurance, repetition practice for accuracy of the overhead clear. 17 theory PowerPoints, 48 lesson plans. Term 2 — Social factor in basketball (8 weeks). Communication and team dynamics, developed through a no-call-no-ball communication drill and team building. 24 theory PowerPoints, 48 lesson plans. Ends with the December mock. Term 3 — Mental factor in swimming (5 weeks). Concentration and motivation, developed through simulation training and positive self-talk. 15 theory PowerPoints, 30 lesson plans. Term 4 — Emotional factor in volleyball (6 weeks). Anger and fear, developed through deep breathing and visualisation, built to fit the 8–12 second gap between points. 24 theory PowerPoints, 36 lesson plans, with the final two weeks given over to whole-course revision on all four factors. What's included 80 theory PowerPoints in a single consistent slide format: learning journey, learning intentions and success criteria with the meta-skill named explicitly, colour-coded task zones, mid-lesson and end-of-lesson learning reviews, and a Teal Zone whiteboard challenge in every deck — no repeats across the whole year. 162 lesson plans — a written plan for every theory and practical lesson across all four blocks. Four block plans, colour-coded by lesson type, so you can see the whole year at a glance. Four pupil workbooks — one per block, matched to the theory lessons, with model answers and blanked sections. Four PDP booklets on a deliberate fading scaffold: Term 1 fully modelled, Term 2 part-planned, Term 3 faster still, Term 4 with only one worked example so pupils write a full PDP themselves. By the exam they can do it unaided. Four training diaries, each measuring what actually matters to that factor — RPE and session load in Term 1, calls and uncalled passes in Term 2, stroke counts and splits in Term 3, emotional triggers and routines in Term 4. 33 revision posters — a four factors overview plus a poster for every sub-factor and test, each running definition, method of gathering data, approach to develop performance, advantages and disadvantages, monitoring and evaluating, and a command words strip. Editable PowerPoint, so you can change the print size. Tracking and monitoring spreadsheet to follow the class across the year.
