A ready-to-use Heatwave Home Learning Food Technology Pack for Upper KS2 and KS3. Designed for emergency school closures, cover lessons, homework or end-of-term work during hot weather.

The pack includes six independent code-breaking activities across three year groups:

Year 7: Heatwave Hydration
Year 8: Heatwave Food Safety
Year 9: Heatwave Takeaway Rescue

Each year group includes two challenges, clear student information pages, extension tasks, printable worksheet versions, colouring pages, teacher instructions and answers.

Students learn about hydration, dehydration, food safety, chilled food, high-risk foods, menu adaptation, customer needs and safer choices during hot weather.

The activities can be completed on screen or printed as worksheets. No practical equipment is needed.
