A thorough, carefully crafted PSHE unit on grief, loss and bereavement for Years 3 to 6 - fully aligned to the DfE’s 2025 statutory RSHE guidance and designed to give KS2 pupils the knowledge, vocabulary and skills to understand grief, manage loss and support others.**

Five sequenced lessons move from the broad concept of loss all the way to the practical skill of supporting a grieving friend, covering every aspect of the 2025 statutory requirement. The unit includes extensive teacher guidance, five detailed lesson plans, five pupil activity sheets, a 22-slide PowerPoint presentation with embedded speaker notes, and a parent communication letter template.
