Practise writing in German in your Christmas lessons with this fun Christmas Elf worksheet.
Pupils use the German that they know to give the elf an interesting back story.

Two worksheets are included:

• one for beginner learners - writing in the first person as the Christmas Elf.
• one practising the third person - pupils write about a Christmas Elf.

Writing ideas are included as part of the success criteria; however, you can add in other topics depending on what your pupils have been studying.

Pupils are encouraged to be creative and practise using language that they would not usually use in writing about themselves.
