•What are sex-linked genes and carriers
•Student task where students match the key words to their definitions + task on key terms linked to sex-linked genes
•Student task where students identify the genotypes and phenotypes of dinosaurs. Students also identify whether the genotypes are heterozygous or homozygous
•What are Punnett squares and how to draw them
•Student task practicing drawing Punnett squares intergrating practice with identifying parental genotypes, using key words and drawing Punnett squares using sex-linked genes
•What is pedigree analysis and what may be asked of you from analysing them
•Worked example analysing pedigree analysis
•Student task interpreting and analysing pedigree analysis for recessive, dominant and sex-linked conditions. Answers included on slides to try and walk students through how to achieve the answers
