A memory game where students try to remember the location of word pairs (collocations), definitions or meanings.

It is a great tool for retrieval of vocabulary, concepts, or chunks of language.

Procedure

• Divide the class into pairs or teams.

• Each group takes a turn and the other students should be paying attention to the location of the pairs.

• If the students find the pairs, leave uncovered and award points. If they are wrong, cover the cards and the next students go.
