GCSE English Language – Transactional Writing: Articles (5-Paragraph Structure)

A fully resourced lesson and 7-page worksheet designed to teach students how to write a confident, persuasive article for a public audience.

The lesson focuses on:

Writing a clear viewpoint from the opening

Using a confident, public tone (no “I think”)

Structuring an article using a 5-paragraph model
(introduction, three developed arguments, clear judgement)
