GCSE Ecology Bundle featuring 4 fully scaffolded lessons designed for accessibility, engagement, and clear progression. Created for students in an SEN Secondary School and aligned to AQA Trilogy Combined Science.

This bundle has been designed specifically to support lower-attaining learners, SEND students, intervention groups, and accessible GCSE science teaching.

Lesson 1 – Ecosystems (Ecosystem, Population
Community, Habitat, Interdependence, Biotic vs abiotic factors)

Lesson 2 – Food Chains & Food Webs (Interdependence, Food chains, Producers, Consumers, Herbivores, Carnivores, Omnivores, Predator vs prey, Food webs)

Lesson 3 – Quadrats (how ecologists estimate organism populations using quadrats).

Indoor adaptation included using coloured paper / post-it notes if no field access is available.

Lesson 4 – Transects (organism distribution using transects and explore how abiotic factors affect plant growth).

Includes: Practical field investigation, Light intensity investigation, Variables identification, Data recording, Graphing and conclusion writing, Career link (Ecotoxicologist).
