I put this together because I kept finding myself re-explaining the shape of the whole Edexcel spec before I could get into any one topic with a student - so eventually I just wrote the overview down properly instead of doing it from memory every time.

It covers all ten topics across Theme 1 and Theme 2 (Pearson Edexcel 1BS0, 2017 spec), with the key terms for each one laid out so a student can get a genuine birds-eye view of the whole course before they get buried in the detail of any single topic. There’s also a quick-reference KAAER framework in here, which I still find is the thing students lean on most when they’re staring down a 6 or 9-mark question and aren’t sure where to start.
