Complete No-Prep lesson with exam questions, tasks and answers on Gas Pressure, Temperature and Volume for AQA GCSE (9-1) Science / Physics.
This lesson covers all of AQA GCSE Physics 4.3.3.1 to 4.3.3.3 and Combined Science 6.3.3.1.

These three parts of the exam spec are differentiated:

  • 4.3.3.1 / 6.3.3.1 is for all students
  • 4.3.3.2 is for GCSE Physics students only (both tiers)
  • 4.3.3.3 is for Higher Tier GCSE Physics students only.

Note: This lesson has been completely rewritten in June 2026 and replaces what was previously two separate lessons (Gas Pressure and Temperature and Gas Pressure and Volume).

As a Secondary Science teacher, Deputy Headteacher, writer and examiner for many years I make high quality no-prep lessons so busy teachers can teach outstanding lessons without spending hours planning. The slides required a lot of prep and were not as advertised. The standard of the thumbnails were only matched by the first and last slides. The slides in between were substandard. It isn't a "no prep" lesson resource by any stretch. This specific resource does not match the apparent standard of other resources by this author or the video available as an example. I don't have any problem making adjustments but when marketed as a "complete no-prep lesson", expectations are higher. I used some of it. I adapted some, which is fine. The following errors need fixing as bare minimum QA: Slide 13: 100 ÷ 15 = 6.6 should be 6.7 (incorrectly rounded) Slide 19: 37.5 = V2 x 0.0005 x P2 has a stray V2 that shouldn't be there. Slide 29: 156,000 ÷ 200,000 should be ÷ 20,000 (typo - gives wrong number despite correct final answer). Slides 21 and 26 - "amount of particles" (bad Physics/misconception) should be "number of particles" in line with n and N in Ideal Gas Law
