I use this resource for students studying Game or Media Studies.
It can be used as an extension task or for substitute teaching.

Students are given a commonly thought statement about video games (violent, only for teenagers and geared towards males) and they are challenged to prove if the statement is true or false by providing any evidence to the contrary.

It could also be used as the basis for a debate/discussion for Functional Skills English/Literacy.
