This resource contains a booklet, PowerPoint presentation and answer sheet (storyboard activity in the booklet) exploring the French Revolution of 1789, linking it to later revolutions and the writing of the Victor Hugo novel Les Misérables. Students are then guided through a viewing of the film through the booklet, with character description pages, review sheet, etc.

Editable and PDF versions of the booklet provided.

Obstensibly aimed at KS3, but could be applied with teacher upscaling to any year group.
