French Jeopardy Game! - le passé composé + participes passés- PPT download with all links programmed AND the Jeopardy MUSIC!

This French Jeopardy game is based on 6 different categories of verbs and ranges from $200-$1000 questions (same format as the original Jeopardy).

Includes a short introduction to the game categories like original Jeopardy.

There are 6 categories in the game: Participes passés, Verbes avec Avoir, Verbes avec Être, Verbes irréguliers, Verbes pronominaux, Défi

Each slide has a subject and a verb (aside from the “participes passés” category).

After the student has given the response, you click the “Réponse” button to see the answer. When you are finished, click anywhere on the “Réponse” slide to return to the main page.

Picture slides have the Jeopardy music which lasts for 30 seconds and acts as a timer. At any point, you can click on the “Réponse” button and go to the answer page.

On the answer / réponse pages, you can click anywhere to return to the main game page.

The questions that have already been chosen disappear off the main game page to slowly reveal the Jeopardy picture.

You must keep score on your own on a separate sheet of paper / screen. The game does not do it for you.

**You can also customize the game by editing out verbs that you think are too easy / hard by adding your own and changing the answer slides. Make sure that you simply replace what is there and don’t change the order of slides / add new slides or I cannot guarantee that the game will still work the same way. Note: I did not personally design this template!

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. The student chooses a category and amount. Questions already chosen will automatically disappear once they are answered.
  2. The student looks at the subject + verb combination on the slide. – The music lasts for 30 seconds which can be your timer.
  3. After the student has guessed, click the “Réponse” button under the picture and the answer slide will appear.
  4. On the “Réponse” slides, you can click anywhere to return to the main game page. Make sure to keep score as you go!
  5. Continue with different students / pairs / teams until all questions are completed!

Have a blast with the game and Happy French Teaching!
