This is a lesson plan and resources for a beginners French Christmas lesson for you to use with KS2. It involves children learning the vocabulary for ‘Happy Christmas,’ as well as six decorations in French.

The plan gives you details of a whole class game to use as a starter, how to teach the vocabulary, a paired reading activity, whole class listening activity, a simple writing activity and plenary whole class game. It is highly interactive and allows children to practise a range of language skills.
