What if your job was to sleep?

Professional sleepers get paid to test hotel beds and mattresses for comfort, warmth, and support. Your students are about to read their new favourite job description, fixing errors in grammar, punctuation, and spelling along the way.

Every student in the room reads the same passage. Each one works at the right level for them.

Built-In Differentiation — No Extra Planning
Each passage is provided at three levels, indicated by stars.
★ Support
★ ★ Expected
★ ★ ★ Greater Depth

Skills vary by level
All three levels cover sentence boundaries, capitalisation, and spelling
Higher levels add commas, apostrophes, and homophones.

What Students Do
Students read a short informational passage about a real odd job.
They identify errors in grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
They rewrite the passage correctly, practising real editing skills rather than multiple choice answers.
