In this activity, students will learn about the formation and impact of the First Triumvirate on the late Roman Republic, focusing on the political maneuverings of Julius Caesar, Pompey the Great, and Crassus. They will also explore how this alliance challenged the traditional power of the Senate and set the stage for the transition from Republic to Empire.

It has 15 questions for students to answer, as well as a paragraph response section for them to demonstrate their understanding of the topic.
