A printable financial decision-making board game for KS2 from Tykeoons. Ideal for golden time, wet play or a PSHE lesson on money and choices.

In Money Moves, 2-4 players navigate a board of Bonus squares, Choice squares and Surprise Cards, each making real spending and saving decisions along the way.

What makes it more than a game of luck: Bonus squares reward smart financial behaviours (comparing prices, repairing instead of replacing, planning ahead), while Choice squares present genuine spend-or-save dilemmas. Surprise Cards introduce the unpredictability of real financial life, for better and worse. At the end, every player reflects on their best money choice.

You will need (not included): a dice, play money and one counter per player.

Suitable for PSHE and financial education. Works well as a self-contained golden time or wet play activity, or as a structured lesson on financial decision-making for Y4/Y5.

This activity is one of hundreds of resources on the Tykeoons primary financial education platform.

This resource contains:

  • Page 1: game board for 2-4 players, including full instructions (print A4 or A3, one per group)
