English KS3 non-fiction writing introduction lesson for KS3, useful for English Language Paper 2 Question 5 A preparation. Focuses on different text types in non-fiction writing. Students work on a magazine project, thinking of a central subject or interest to use as a stimulus for creating different writing pieces. Students analyse different magazines to help introduce them to magazines and then begin to plan their own magazines for the term. A useful lesson for KS3 and KS4 classes with differentiated activities, questions and resources.
