This writing activity is linked to the story Elephant in My Kitchen. Children will imagine that an animal has come into their house and write a simple sentence to describe it. They can use adjectives to explain what the animal looks like, what it is doing, or how they feel about it. The activity encourages creativity, sentence writing, and the use of capital letters and full stops.
