This is a complete mini lesson with some colourful and engaging slides to help you encourage revision and reflection on (Grade 6/Year 7/middle school) students’ learning in English this year.

There is a starter activity to display as your students enter your room and I’ve included a few location-alternatives you can choose from (for example, the image of the Burj Khalifa, or the CNN Tower, the Merdeka 118 Tower, or the Shard which I’ve used to reference height).

Then there are example images for promoting a quick and easy creative task to synthesise students’ learning of grammar, style and literary devices alongside new stimulus materials. As always in English, there’s no really true answer, but a whole opportunity for revising students’ creativity and boosting confidence as you end the year.

I’d love to hear how you found the resource (cefrancisgilbert@gmail.com) and please leave me a complimentary review if you found it useful. Much appreciated.
