This is a 3-4 week unit on Texture, an element of art, for Year 7 in Key Stage 3. This introductory unit on texture teaches students about: 1)implied an 2) actual texture through 2 fun and simple projects. It revises some skills taught about line by including hatching and cross-hatching. Great projects to use to make a display board colourful and attractive. It includes quality photo’s of still lives and student examples - no Google imagery. It also contains basic vocabulary, a vocabulary worksheet students can fill out and a marking scheme. Simple and easy to use for EAL students.
