Edexcel IGCSE English Language Paper 1 Section A mock exam paper, exploring From A Game of Polo with a Headless Goat by Emma Levine from the anthology for component 1) and another provided text on rugby in Afghanistan. Please note that the Levine extract is not included in the pack due to copyright restrictions, but can be found via the Edexcel website and the Edexcel anthology.

Students answer all five of the Section A questions based on the two texts (one provided, one available online). Both texts focus on the central theme of sport in another country and culture.

The layout of the exam paper is designed to be similar to the official Edexcel IGCSE exam papers.

Designed for Edexcel IGCSE Specification A (4EA1).
