Edexcel English Language Paper 2 Section A lesson that uses an extract from AQA’s Paper 1 reading resource (available here: ) from Hilary Mantel’s Bring Up The Bodies to help students look at how new characters and themes are introduced to the reader, and make inferences about those characters through the ways they are introduced.

Additionally, the lesson is part of a series of resources that look at two contemporary texts on the common theme of nature (the other text is a travel diary entry from the 20th century). Perfect for the new Edexcel 2.0 spec.
