Week 1 focuses on greetings, names and simple feelings. Pupils learn to greet politely, say their names, ask how someone is and build short conversations.

What’s included:
• 5 daily child-facing PowerPoint slides (one for each session)
• Clear learning objectives for every day
• Teacher guidance for using each slide
• Extension speaking activities for confident pupils
• Printable picture-card descriptions to support pair work
• Simple, engaging visuals for EAL beginners

Each session lasts around 15 minutes – perfect for withdrawal groups or in-class support.
Part of a 10-week EAL Daily Intervention series.
