Planning for reception class based on ‘Drawing Club’ - premise of drawing a picture and writing about it. We approach this as drawing and writing a caption which could be a word, short phrase or sentence depending on the children’s level of confidence with writing.

7 weeks of lessons in total - 2 lessons per week covering 3 books over the space of 2 weeks and then 2 lessons for the final week on a 4th book.
