Year 7 RE Lesson: Sacrifice and Sin – Why Was Sacrifice Seen as the Price for Sin?

This lesson explores the dramatic story of David and Bathsheba and how it connects to the idea of sacrifice in Judaism. Pupils learn how sacrifice was believed to restore a broken relationship with God after sin and why rituals were so emotionally powerful.
