This is a 2-lesson project for a KS3 Drama or English class. It has a full set of slides and attached worksheet, to be completed on laptops or printed out for paper copies. Students will work in pairs to select a stimulus, imagine and then create an outline of a story for a short film. They will determine characters, locations and background; they’ll engage in set and costume design and then create a storyboard outlining the plot for their film. This will work perfectly if a Drama lesson is moved from a practical space to a classroom or to support extended creative writing tasks in English. All images are generated by AI or have Creative Commons licences, so can be used for your classroom.
