Specification references covered: P2.10 (v/t graphs: acceleration from gradient; distance from area under graph; comparing accelerations qualitatively)

Three questions from this subtopic appear directly on every Edexcel CP1 end-of-unit paper: the MCQ identifying highest speed, the 4-mark ratio of accelerations calculation, and the 3-mark area-under-graph distance calculation. All three are reproduced in this pack with the official answer data. The Topic Mastery Sheet gives the exact mark scheme values and explicitly states that a bald answer of 4 m without working = 0 marks. The three-point description of the second train’s motion is also included verbatim.

The Student Exam Practice Sheet (20 marks) includes the full official exam question structure: highest speed MCQ; ratio question; area question (with working requirement); second train drawing description; d/t vs v/t comparison; constant velocity identification; acceleration calculation; and total distance from area.
