In this resource, pupils read through the poem ‘Daylight Robbery’ by Paul Henry and ‘Student House’ by Peter Finch.

(Copies of the poems can be found in the book ‘Library of Wales: Poetry 1900-2000’, edited by Meic Stephens)

Pupils then answer questions, and write an analysis and comparison of the poems using the sentence starters.

N.B. This resource requires pupils to have some prior knowledge of poetry/comparing poems.
