A ready-to-teach PowerPoint scaffold for a one-hour Year 1 maths lesson on skip-counting.

Children learn what skip-counting is, then count in 2s, 5s and 10s all the way to 100, spotting the clever patterns hiding inside each sequence (even numbers, numbers ending in 5 or 0, and multiples of ten).

It includes a whole-class counting circle activity and a ‘Fill the Gaps’ pattern challenge. This covers the Year 1 counting objectives in a colourful, low-prep, ready-to-teach way.
