Overview: Designed to be short and quick retrieval revision tasks for CORE students. One double page to complete per day supporting students to focus their revision and identify gaps in their knowledge before then reviewing key information and practicing again. They can then move on to more in depth revision before completing the next page. More pages to come so students can build up a mini booklet for retrieval practice to guide their revision.

How I use these revision pages with my students: I give my students one of these pages every week with the idea of building spaced revision. The feedback has been positive, students enjoy the short tasks and are able to identify their gaps through this. Although I encourage students to use these independently, we also use them in lessons, specifically the key term sections, supporting collaborative learning by testing one another. Students can use this double page to practice spaced retrieval revision on ‘chromatography from 12.3 section of the syllabus’.

Format: It is designed to be printed side by side on one sheet and folded to create a booklet. The bookmark is intended to be folded in half and used to cover the key terms or definitions so students can test themselves.

Based on Cambridge IGCSE 0620 CORE, but due to similar content can be used with another syllabus.
