This resource contains a Chinese New Year animal zodiac-themed battleships team game on an interactive PowerPoint. It is a fun way to reinforce coordinates in the first quadrant. There are three different grids to provide hours of fun! It can be administered to a whole class and includes a team score sheet.

Suggestions for use:

- Divide group/class into teams.
- Teams take turns to choose a coordinate.
- The scoring system is 2 points for a pig as it is the Year of the Rat and 1 point for all other animals.
- A 'thumbs down' means no point scored.

This resource is appropriate for primary aged pupils and older, SEN students.
