Boost your students’ engagement with this interactive Snakes and Ladders game, designed to make revising heating and particles concepts exciting and memorable. Through friendly competition, students actively participate and solidify their understanding while having fun.

How It Works

Setup:
Print the game board, available as two A4 sheets or one A3 sheet.
Use the included paper counters (available in both coloured and black-and-white) and grab a dice.
Ensure students have paper, mini whiteboards, a periodic table, and calculators for working out answers.

Gameplay
Each player begins at the “Start” position with a counter.
A designated “Reader” asks questions from the revision cards and can also write formulas for all to see, supporting group comprehension.
Players answer questions in turn; correct answers allow them to roll the dice and move forward. If they land on a ladder, they go up; if they land on a snake, they slide down!
The first to reach “100” wins, making for an engaging and collaborative review of GCSE material.
