This resource is for advanced KS4 students.

It consists of a lesson presentation that includes a starter and worked solutions to the questions on the accompanying worksheet.

Knowledge of Bearings, Sine Rule and Cosine Rule is assumed. The lesson teaches how to solve problems that require the application of the Sine and Cosine Rules. In particular, the focus is on Bearings problems that require application of one or other of the Rules. There is a problem involving a triangle whose sides are given as algebraic expressions and a problem where the three sides of the triangle are all tangents to a circle.
