Set of 4 worksheets which encourage students to research into the life stories of artists. In the style of illustrator Liz Clements, students are to produce a portrait of the artist, before adding tattoos in her style of symbols and meanings relating to the artists life and works.

The work sheets have an example in the style of Frida Kahlo, a blank Frida Kahlo and blank Jean Michel Basquait activity sheet.

A project overview of how to develop the research into a display piece is also provided.
