All 12 graded short stories, written entirely from the AQA 8692 vocabulary list. Every story uses language your pupils have already been taught, so they can read fluently instead of stopping at every other word and reaching for a dictionary.

That’s the whole point of them. Authentic texts are usually too hard at GCSE, and pupils end up decoding rather than reading. These give them the experience of reading Spanish successfully — meeting familiar vocabulary again in a new context, which is exactly what makes it stick.

Every story comes with comprehension questions and a full answer key, so it’s ready to set with no preparation and quick to mark.

They fit alongside the 14 planned units and follow the same three AQA themes, so you can set a story once a unit is taught and know the language will be recognised. Good for reading lessons, homework, cover work, or something purposeful for early finishers.

One purchase for all 12 stories, rather than buying each separately.
