This resource is based on the new AQA GCSE specification but can also be used for the Edexcel specification.

It covers all nine topics and as well as exam revision practice, it can be used for cover lessons, homework, intervention or extension work.

Students are given a brief recap of the pronunciation of key sound-symbol correspondences, followed by practice tasks with a Foundation and Higher task for each topic. For further practice and to exploit the resource further, students could translate these short, simple sentences into English.
