Apple Coloring Pages for the fall season, 69 printable sheets of round smiling apples, leafy stems, and sweet lettering, ready for classrooms from PreK to fifth grade. One design per page, black and white throughout.

A Closer Look at the Apples

The apples are drawn plump and round, most with wide eyes and a small curved smile, some with two soft circles for blushing cheeks. Each one carries a bent stem with a single pointed leaf. Several sheets group three or four apples so they overlap slightly, which gives children a reason to pick different reds, greens, and yellows for each. Lettering pages spell out APPLES and SWEET APPLES in hollow bubble capitals, and one sheet puts the word SWEET inside a speech bubble with a pointed tail. Daisies, hearts, stars, and small sparkle marks fill the remaining white space.

Educational Benefits
  • Fine motor practice comes from tracing the curve where the apple meets its stem.
    • Color comparison happens when a child colors four apples on one page and varies each.
    • Shape familiarity grows through repeated work with circles, ovals, and pointed leaves.
    • Word recognition builds on the lettering pages, where children color real words letter by letter.
    • Longer attention develops on the busier sheets, which hold enough detail to last a full session.
Where These Fit in a School Day
  • Use during an apple unit in September or October.
    • Pair with a lesson on how fruit grows on trees.
    • Print for the week you read an apple themed picture book aloud.
    • Set out at a fall festival or harvest party table.
    • Give to early finishers who need a productive activity.
    • Send home with a note about healthy snacks.
    • Decorate a bulletin board with a mix of finished pages.
