This pack contains a complete lesson where students create their own “time machine” showing a favourite character from a book, TV show, or game going to Ancient Rome. The purpose of the activity is to get students to imagine what daily life might be like, and to pick an aspect of Ancient Roman culture to interact with. I originally used this with a P2 class but it is suitable for a wide range of ages.

I recommend bringing books or handouts which show examples of clothing, architecture, weaponry, etc which students can incorporate into their drawings.
