In this activity, students will examine the religious beliefs of ancient China, from the Bronze Age worship of nature spirits and ancestor veneration through to the rise of Confucianism, Daoism and Buddhism. They will explore how each of these belief systems offered different ideas about how to live, covering topics such as social responsibility, harmony with nature, the causes of human suffering, and the concept of an afterlife.

It has 12 questions for students to answer, as well as a paragraph response section for them to demonstrate their understanding of the topic.
