A complete lesson based on the activate 1 SOW and pitched to a year 7 class. The lesson is differentiated with the use of ‘stretch’ activities and support sheets for more and less able respectively. The differentiated question grid challenge pushes all abilities within the group. A fun whiteboard activity is included relating to hazard symbols. This lesson includes timers to promote pace, and powerpoint animations to facilitate Q/A during review of answers at each learning checkpoint.
