This 4-page resource explores the topic of migrant regularisation in Spain, focusing on the Spanish government’s 2026 regularisation process for undocumented migrants, a major and widely reported development in current Spanish society.

The resource builds students’ knowledge of this policy, including its aims, requirements and social context. It then develops analytical skills by introducing a range of political opinions, enabling students to examine contrasting viewpoints and form and justify their own response to the issue.

What’s included:

  • Reading comprehension task with questions in Spanish
  • Summary task
  • Vocabulary activity focused on key terminology related to immigration and integration
  • Opinion analysis task – identifying viewpoints and language of argument
  • Speaking task (with indicative content in English)
  • Reading extension via QR code, linking to authentic material for further exploration
  • Answers sheet included!

If you find this resource useful, a quick review really helps other teachers discover it. Thank you!
