Interactive A Christmas Carol Character Analysis Tool – Full Version (Ages 11–14)

Created by Aniruddha Das. Teacher Tools Studio.

No install. No login. No subscription. Works offline.

This standalone HTML app supports the teaching of key characters from A Christmas Carol through interactive statement-sorting activities and misconception-focused questioning.

Simply download the file and open it in a browser. Everything runs locally, with no internet connection required.

This full version includes 8 key characters, each with 3 levels of difficulty.

For each character and level, pupils are presented with 14 statement tiles: 7 correct and 7 incorrect. Pupils drag the correct statements into the answer area, encouraging discussion, justification and careful interpretation.

Lower levels focus on clear character traits and essential knowledge. Higher levels introduce more nuanced statements requiring deeper thought about behaviour, motives and development.

The clean, consistent interface is suitable for whole-class teaching, interactive whiteboards, paired discussion, independent retrieval, starter activities, lesson checkpoints and intervention sessions.

Please review the screenshots and preview video to confirm that the app meets your needs.
