Overview

This Forces and Matter resource bundle provides a complete teaching and revision package for Pearson Edexcel GCSE Physics (9-1). It covers fluid pressure, pressure in liquids, atmospheric pressure, upthrust and floating, elastic and inelastic distortion, force-extension relationships, elastic energy, and the investigation of springs.

The materials combine clear physics explanations with calculation practice, graphical reasoning and experimental skills. Students are supported from secure core ideas through multi-step applications, while teachers have structured lesson planning, misconception guidance, assessment material and classroom-ready presentation slides for direct delivery.

The complete bundle is suitable for whole-class teaching, independent study, revision, homework and assessment preparation. The presentation slides form a major part of the product, providing a visual teaching sequence with worked examples, guided practice, misconception checks and active questioning.

What’s Included

This bundle includes:

  • Student Notes — structured notes on pressure, upthrust, elasticity and the spring practical, with formulae, vocabulary, mini-examples and common mistakes
  • Worked Examples — fully solved calculations and explanations with method choices, unit conversions and answer checks
  • Practice Questions — progressive Core and Standard questions covering recall, calculations, explanations, graphs and practical skills
  • Challenge Questions — more demanding multi-step problems and extended reasoning tasks
  • Mini Assessment — a 40-mark chapter assessment covering knowledge, application, calculations and experimental skills
  • Mark Scheme — detailed answers, working, marking guidance, accepted alternatives, partial-credit guidance and common errors
  • Lesson Plan — a structured three-lesson teaching sequence with starters, teaching flow, practical work, differentiation and homework suggestions
  • Teaching Notes — teacher explanations, misconception interventions, questioning prompts, practical guidance and differentiation support
  • Presentation Slides — a premium classroom-ready slide deck for whole-class teaching, worked examples, guided practice, misconception checks, visual explanations and lesson delivery
