This 9 Nursery Rhyme Colour Posters with matching colouring black and white sheets resource is a fun, inclusive sing-and-colour activity designed for EYFS and SEND children.
It includes nine landscape colour posters featuring well-loved rhymes such as Down at the Station, Heads and Shoulders, and There Was an Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe, each paired with a black-and-white colouring version.

Children can choose their own colours or copy the posters, colour and trace the letters, and take part in extra activities such as letter-finding and colour-code challenges (for example, colouring all the letter y in yellow).

The resource also includes a set of small colour cards that can be cut out and added to a communication board template; when laminated and attached with Velcro, children can select which songs to sing, choose the order, and show their favourites—supporting choice-making and communication.

The posters can be used on displays or combined into a ‘Sing and Rhyme’ book, with strong links to reading, writing, handwriting, alphabetical awareness, poetry, and rhyme, making it a versatile and engaging classroom or SEND resource.
